Loretta Lynn has maintained her country-star royalty status throughout her five-decades-long career, releasing more than 55 albums with consistently popular (and even controversial) songs. As part of being honored as our Legend at Billboard‘s Women in Music event — airing Friday (Dec. 18) at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime — we’re commemorating by spotlighting Lynn’s top 10 hits, mostly from the late ’60s to ’70s.

Loretta Lynn’s top 10 Billboard hits chart is based on actual performance on the weekly Hot Country Songs chart, through the Dec. 26, 2015, ranking. Songs are ranked by peak position. If multiple songs peaked at the same rank, ties were broken by weeks at peak, weeks in the top 10, and then weeks on chart, respectively.
