Keanu Reeves Joins Uma Thurman, Pete Davidson, Clint Eastwood & More on the Hot 100 … as Charted Song Titles

Logic's new song named "Keanu Reeves" debuts at No. 38.

It’s not a duet, but Logic and Keanu Reeves debut together on the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated Feb. 2).

The rapper’s new single, “Keanu Reeves,” enters at No. 38, its title name-checking the actor whose career has ranged from the campy Bill and Ted film franchise to The Matrix and its sequels and more.

The track plays off The Matrix, as Reeves’ character in the 1999 sci-fi action movie is dubbed “The One.” Raps Logic in the song, “I am the one, like Keanu Reeves.”

Upon its debut, “Keanu Reeves” joins an array of prominent names that have doubled as Hot 100 hits, songs that enjoy an easy in with listeners since they arrive with a dose of instant familiarity.

Here’s a look at a dozen such songs, beyond Logic’s new ode to Reeves, from the last 20 years-plus (to around when The Matrix was originally in theaters). Included are hits that serve as tributes to actors and actresses, other musicians, the founder of Microsoft and a comedian from Saturday Night Live (plus someone whose son is clearly not a fan of the show).
