Daryl Hall Partners With BMG for More ‘Live From Daryl’s House’ Episodes

BMG is now attached to Live From Daryl's House, the paused music series helmed by singer Daryl Hall. The agreement gives BMG worldwide rights to the show's 82-episode catalog and adds the company as executive producer of an upcoming season.

Live From Daryl's House began as a web series in 2007 and most recently aired on MTV Live. Originally it was filmed at Hall's former house in Millerton, NY, but moved to the Daryl’s House club in Pawling until it went off the air last year.

The long-running show features interviews, cooking segments, and Hall collaborating with guest artists – which over the years have included Ben Folds, Sammy Hagar, Aaron Neville, Smokey Robinson, Nick Lowe, K.T. Tunstall, Todd Rundgren, Mayer Hawthorne, Jason Mraz, Gavin DeGraw, Amos Lee, Elle King, Aloe Blacc and Kenny Loggins (see below).

A new season, which begins production this fall, will be executive produced by Good Cop Bad Cop Productions' Hall and Jonathan Wolfson, and Joe Thomas and Bob Frank for BMG. Sound Off Productions’ Domenic Cotter stays on as the show's producer.

"I'm really excited to announce that LFDH is coming back!  We have a new production partner with BMG, who are enthusiastic about taking this show to the next level with me," Hall said. "Fans have been asking me when we are returning, so I am pleased to say that we are headed into production in the fall."

BMG already administers numerous gems from Hall and his musical partner John Oates, including "Maneater," "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)," "You Make My Dreams (Come True)," "Out Of Touch," "Every Time You Go Away," "One On One," and "Say It Isn't So," among many others.

"This new joint venture with Live From Daryl’s House is yet another example of BMG's growth in the audiovisual market," commented Thomas, svp audiovisual, BMG US. "The show is an absolute television treasure full of musical landmarks. There is such a high-level of interest and demand for LFDH both here in the US and internationally — whether that’s with partners throughout Europe, Asia, Australia — we couldn’t be more excited to be working with the LFDH team to present the show to fans across the globe.”
