Lee Hi‘s long-awaited return to the K-pop scene sees the vocalist make her chart comeback and further cement her place as one of the scene’s top divas.

The 22-year-old’s new 24 Degrees Celsius EP debuts at No. 7 on Billboard‘s World Albums chart, selling 1,000 copies in the week ending June 6, according to Nielsen Music. The five-track record also starts at No. 22 on Heatseekers Albums, a chart that sees far fewer K-pop acts enter.

This marks Lee Hi’s third Top 10 and fourth overall entry on World Albums altogether: The star first appeared in 2013 with her two-part album First Love, Part 1 peaking at No. 3 while Part 2 hit No. 15, then she eturned in 2016 with her Seoulite album that also peaked at No. 3 on the chart. Meanwhile, she has two entries on Heatseekers Albums: 24 Degrees Celsius is her second appearance after Seoulite hit No. 16.

When it comes to Lee Hi’s best sales weeks in America, Seoulite also sold about 1,000 copies in its first week, though slightly more than 24 Degrees. It also marks the singer’s best-selling album in America with 3,000 copies sold to date.

Compared to the boy bands and girl groups, K-pop’s female solo acts are far rarer on charts like World Albums with Lee Hi’s achievements putting her in a rare spot among her fellow divas. The last female soloist to land higher than Lee Hi was Taeyeon with her Something New EP that hit No. 4 in June 2018. Furthermore, Lee Hi, Taeyeon, BoAIU and HuynA are the only K-pop female soloists to score four or more entries on World Albums in the chart’s history.

Despite the long wait, fans of the soulful singer will be treated to things both new and classic Lee Hi on 24 Degrees Celsius. The lead single “No One” has less emphasis on her stunning vocals, but sees the star embracing a slinky, synth-heavy production and hooky shoutouts. Rapper B.I is one of the EP’s three guests with a standout, aggressive rap section on “No One” to match Lee Hi’s kiss-off vibe on the track. Singer G.Soul features on “No Way,” a track that feels like classic Lee Hi with its trap-jazz feel pairing nicely with the smoky, brass ballad “Love Is Over” and the EP’s moving R&B closer “20Min.”

Over on the World Digital Song Sales chart, Lee Hi also nabs her eighth entry to date as “No One” featuring B.I debuts at No. 6, selling 1,000 copies according to Nielsen Music. This is the star’s highest-charting entry since April 2013 when her single “Rose” debuted at No. 4. To date, Lee Hi’s best-selling song in America is “1,2,3,4” — which landed the singer her first solo entry on World Song Sales in 2012 — which has sold 12,000 downloads to date.
