Reissues of Led Zeppelin’s first three albums are set to storm back onto the Billboard 200 chart next week. The three titles should re-enter the chart within the top 15, and have a chance at all hitting the top 10.
The albums, simply titled “Led Zeppelin,” “Led Zeppelin II” and “Led Zeppelin III,” could each sell around 25,000 in the week ending June 8, according to industry forecasters.
The new Billboard 200 chart’s top 10 will be announced on June 11.
Miranda Lambert Set for First No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 Chart
If Led Zeppelin nets three titles within the top 15 concurrently, they’ll be the first act to do so since Whitney Houston scored four in the region following her death in 2012 (on the chart dated March 17).
Elsewhere on next week’s Billboard 200 chart, look for country star Miranda Lambert to capture her first No. 1 album, as “Platinum” could sell upwards of 175,000 copies. That would mark her best sales week yet, and also earn Lambert her fifth consecutive No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart.
50 Cent’s new “Animal Ambition” — his first independently-distributed album since leaving Interscope Records — could sell around 35,000. That should land him in the top 10 of the Billboard 200, his sixth top 10 effort. The rapper’s last set, 2009’s “Before I Self-Destruct,” debuted and peaked at No. 5 off a 160,000 start, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The new “Now That’s What I Call Country 7” compilation is also set for a top 10 debut, with perhaps 25,000 or so. The 19-song set features 10 tracks that hit No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart, including chart-toppers by Luke Bryan (“Drink a Beer”), Darius Rucker (“Wagon Wheel”) and Florida Georgia Line (“Stay”).
Aiming for a possible return to the top 10 is the soundtrack to the movie “The Fault In Our Stars.” The album debuted at No. 8 two weeks ago and then fell to No. 18 this past week (sales frame ending June 1). Industry sources suggest the album — powered by what’s expected to be a very strong theatrical debut for the film over the June 6-8 weekend — could jump back into the top 10.
Outside the top 10, singer/actress Lucy Hale should see her debut album, “Road Between,” land with around 20,000. The co-star of ABC Family’s “Pretty Little Liars” notched a hit single earlier this year with the album’s “You Sound Good To Me,” which reached No. 21 on the Hot Country Songs chart.

Also, expect the original Broadway cast recording of “If/Then,” starring “Frozen’s” Idina Menzel, to make a sizable bow on the Billboard 200. The set might sell around 15,000 or so — a big number for a cast album. How big? “If/Then” could earn the largest sales debut for a cast recording since 2008, when “Disney’s The Little Mermaid” splashed onto the list with 20,000 in its first week (at No. 26).
On SoundScan’s Building chart (below), Lambert is No. 1, followed by Coldplay’s “Ghost Stories.” The Building tally is a precursor to the final Billboard 200 ranking, reflecting the first four days (Monday through Thursday) of SoundScan’s tracking week as reported by six major merchants.
As for the rest of the top 10 on the Building Chart: Brantley Gilbert’s “Just As I Am” is No. 3, the “Frozen” soundtrack is No. 4 and 50 Cent is No. 5. After that, the “Now 50” compilation is No. 6, the “Now Country 7” title is No. 7 and Lucy Hale is No. 8. The soundtrack to “The Fault In Our Stars” is No. 9 and Michael Jackson’s “Xscape” is No. 10.
(Led Zeppelin’s reissues do not appear on the Building chart, as the list excludes older albums. However, they will be present on the official Billboard 200 chart next week.)
