Lady Gaga Postpones Las Vegas Dive Bar Tour Stop

Lady Gaga and Bud Light announced Tuesday (July 11) that the first stop of the renewed Dive Bar Tour, scheduled for Thursday at a yet-undisclosed Las Vegas venue, will be postponed to a later date.

"Unfortunately Lady Gaga needs to postpone the first stop of the 2017 Bud Light Dive Bar Tour this week in Las Vegas," reads a statement to Billboard. "She’s deep in rehearsals for her world tour and is working to reschedule a new date as soon as possible. She can’t wait to see all of you soon.”

Bud Light adds: "We fully support our friend Lady Gaga in this process, and will work with her and her team to reschedule the show at a better time. We’ll be sure to follow up as soon as we have the new date and look forward to seeing you on the road soon."

Gaga revealed the return of the Dive Bar Tour late last month, announcing that she would perform the first date in Vegas before passing the baton to two new artists for stops in Los Angeles (July 26) and New Orleans (Aug. 30). So far, it appears the next two dates will go on as scheduled.

Lady Gaga kicked off the Dive Bar Tour last fall around the release of her latest album, Joanne, playing intimate watering holes in New York, Nashville and L.A. When Billboard spoke with Gaga last month about the Vegas date, she said she relished the chance to get back to the bar before hitting the road for her massive Joanne World Tour.

"I think about how I started out in my career, and I was just playing in bars downtown in New York — and you miss that, you know?" she said at the time. "It's a very wonderful, intimate connection that you get to make with the audience, and it's all about, you know, friendship and love and bonding."
