La Adictiva & Luis R. Conriquez Unite Atop Regional Mexican Airplay Chart With ‘JGL’

The track marks the first No. 1 for Conriquez.

La Adictiva and Luis R. Conriquez unite atop Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart (dated Sept. 10) as “JGL” hits No. 1 after spending four weeks in the top 10.

“JGL” rises 6-1 boosted by a 50% increase in audience impressions, to 6.6 million, earned in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 4, according to Luminate. The song was released Feb. 18 via Anval.

In addition to earning each of its credited acts a new No. 1, the new champ also gifts the label its ninth chart topper and first after it took over atop Regional Mexican Airplay for four weeks in Dec. 2021, also through a La Adictiva track: “Ya Solo Eres Mi Ex.”

His maiden entry, “El Buho,” peaked at No. 6 in Sept. 2021, while his collaborative turn on Giovanny Ayala’s “Quien Se Apunta,” reached No. 7 on the Aug. 13-dated tally.
