According to TMZ, Gates had a bond hearing Wednesday (April 19) at the Bridgeview Courthouse in Illinois but the judge denied his bond. The rapper is being held at Kendall County Jail.
Gates was reportedly arrested on an outstanding warrant in this Illinois weapons case while he was being processed for release from a Florida jail last month, having served the majority of a six-month term there.
Gates had been jailed in Florida on battery charges related to a 2015 incident where he kicked a female fan in the chest during a concert.
