Arista Records Signs Teen Pop Singer Kenzie Ahead Of Tour With PRETTYMUCH

The 15-year-old singer kicks off a tour with PRETTYMUCH today (July 11).

Rising pop artist Mackenzie Ziegler — known to her 30 million followers across social media platforms as simply kenzie — has signed to Arista Records.

The announcement comes as the 15-year-old singer is hitting the road with an opening slot on the PRETTYMUCH FOMO Tour, which kicks off in Texas tonight (July 11). She’ll also release the new single “Hot” on July 17, with a music video to follow. (Update: “Hot” is out now; check it out below.)

“We are so excited to welcome kenzie to the Arista family,” shared Arista president and CEO David Massey. “At just 15 years old, she has built an incredible fanbase and possesses so much talent. We are looking forward to a very bright future together.”

Kenzie, who is the younger sister of dancer and Sia collaborator Maddie Ziegler, released her debut album Mack Z in 2014. She has since built a formidable social media following, with close to 13 million Instagram followers and 3 million subscribers on YouTube, where she’s known for her vlogs, song covers and behind-the-scenes clips.

Last year, kenzie released her sophomore album Phases featuring “Wonderful,” written by Sia. Her most recent release, “What If,” an EDM-tinged collab with fellow teen singer Johnny Orlando, has raked in more than 21 million Spotify streams to date.

The singer marks the latest young sensation to join Arista’s growing roster, which recently added viral teen star Greyson Chance and 21-year-old synth-pop artist Julian Lamadrid. “I’m so excited for this new adventure with Arista Records and David Massey,” kenzie commented. “I can’t wait to celebrate on the road with my fans and for them to hear new music coming out very soon!”
