Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean No. 1; Carrie Underwood Debuts on Country Charts

Chesney bows atop Top Country Albums, Aldean logs a milestone reign on Hot Country Songs and expectant mom Underwood's "Water" breaks.

Nearly 20 years after first gracing the list, Carrie Underwood Announces Pregnancy

With the song having been released to radio and retail on Monday, it should make a play for the upper reaches of next week’s Hot Country Songs chart following its first full week of digital availability. This week, “Water” starts with all its chart points from its first two days of radio airplay (12.8 million audience impressions, according to Nielsen BDS; radio follows a Wednesday-Tuesday tracking week for Hot Country Songs, while sales and streaming encompass a Monday-Sunday period).

The midtempo “Water” previews Underwood’s Greatest Hits: Decade #1, due Dec. 9.
