Kenny Chesney heads up the weekly list of top-grossing Hot Tours (see list, below) with the first box office stats reported from his 2015 tour through 52 North American cities.
Ticket sales totaled $19.1 million from the first 14 venues following the March 26 launch in Nashville. With more than a quarter of a million tickets sold during its first six weeks, the tour is on track to top one million in attendance — a feat Chesney has accomplished on all 10 of his tours reported to Boxscore since 2003.

The country star is on the road this year supporting his latest album The Big Revival, which bowed last September. With Jake Owen and Chase Rice onboard as show openers throughout most of the summer, the tour is booked in both arenas and stadiums. Ten of the stadium dates will be a co-headlining performance with reigning Academy of Country Music male vocalist of the year Jason Aldean. The first of those pairings is included in this tally, a concert at the new home of the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers, Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. The May 2 concert grossed more than $4.7 million from 46,549 sold tickets.
Eric Church will also join the Big Revival tour for stadium shows in five markets during the summer run. The first one, a concert at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on May 9, drew 43,675 fans with sales just over the $4 million mark.
Adding to country music’s presence on the Hot Tours recap is Brad Paisley, who scores the No. 5 ranking with $1.1 million in sales reported from the first two stops on his Crushin’ It tour. Kicking off on May 15, the tour is set to play 35 dates in North American markets through early October. With Justin Moore and newcomer Mickey Guyton providing support for most of the trek, Paisley will perform primarily at outdoor amphitheaters, but summer festival dates are also included in the mix.

Scoring the third place ranking this week is English singer-songwriter Olly Murs based on $2.2 million in ticket sales reported from sold out concerts in Dublin and Belfast during April. The pop star hit the road earlier this year behind in support of his latest album Never Been Better. The tour’s opening leg began with a six-week swing through the U.K. and will continue until June 10 with shows booked in 10 more European countries.
