On next week’s Billboard 200 chart, Katy Perry’s “Prism” seems destined for at No. 1 debut, as industry sources forecast the album to sell around 290,000 by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Two days ago, the insiders had pegged the set to bow with around 270,000. Some are pointing to Walmart’s recent TV commercials touting the album (starring Perry herself) as a catalyst for the growth.

There’s a chance — though small — that the album could hit the 300,000 mark by the end of the week. We’ll have Perry’s official sales figure — as tabulated by Nielsen SoundScan — on Wednesday, Oct. 30. The rest of the new Billboard 200’s top 10 will also be revealed that morning.

“Prism” will mark Perry’s second No. 1 album, following her last release, 2010’s “Teenage Dream.” As noted on Wednesday, “Prism” should also log the year’s largest sales week for a woman, and Perry’s best week ever.

The second-highest debut on next week’s Billboard 200 chart will likely be Fifth Harmony’s “Better Together.” The debut EP from the “X Factor”-born quintet might sell around 30,000 to 32,000. Right behind them will be rock band AFI with its new album “Burials,” perhaps debuting with 25,000 to 30,000.

The latter’s last album, 2009’s “Crash Love,” bowed at No. 12 with 52,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

A fourth album might arrive in the top 10 next week: DJ Khaled’s “Suffering From Success.” It might hit the lower end of the region with around 25,000 sold. His last release, 2012’s “Kiss the Ring,” opened with 41,000 at No. 4.

On SoundScan’s Building chart (below), Perry is No. 1, while Miley Cyrus’ “Bangerz” is No. 2. The Building tally is a precursor to the final Billboard 200 ranking — reflecting the first four days (Monday through Thursday) of SoundScan’s tracking week as reported by six major merchants.

As for the rest of the top 10: Fifth Harmony is No. 3, while Drake’s “Nothing Was the Same” and Lorde’s “Pure Heroine” are Nos. 4 and 5, respectively. Pearl Jam’s current No. 1 on the Billboard 200, “Lightning Bolt,” is No. 6 on the Building Chart, followed by DJ Khaled at No. 7. AFI’s “Burials” is No. 8.

Meanwhile, TLC’s greatest hits album “20” is found at No. 9 on the Building Chart. The set may jump straight into the top 20 next week on the Billboard 200, following the Oct. 21 premiere of the VH1 movie about the group, “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story.” The collection could sell around 15,000 to 20,000 copies — up from the 5,000 it debuted with at No. 72 this past week on the Billboard 200.

Closing out the top 10 on the Building Chart is Justin Timberlake’s “The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2).”
