Kaleo’s “Way Down We Go” returns to No. 1 on the THR’s Top TV Songs chart, powered by Tunefind and Shazam, for October, thanks to its appearance in the second season premiere of The CW’s Riverdale on Oct. 25.

Rankings for the Top TV Songs chart are based on song and show data provided by Tunefind and ranked using a formula blending respective Shazam tags, as well as sales and streaming information tracked by Nielsen Music during the corresponding period.

“Way Down We Go” previously led the Top TV Songs chart in December 2016 after its appearance in The Vampire Diaries, also on The CW, and dipped to No. 2 the following month after appearing on MTV’s Teen Wolf. The song becomes just the second track to lead the Top TV Songs chart for multiple months, following Lord Huron’s “The Night We Met,” which also ruled for two months in March and April.
