Justin Bieber and Adele Continue to Dominate Australia’s Sales Charts
Bieber holds at No. 1 on the national singles chart and he completes a clean-sweep of the top three spots on ARIA's streaming tracks chart.

Bieber’s “Love Yourself” (Def Jam/Universal) has staved off the challenge of Adele’s four-times platinum “Hello” (XL/Remote Control) to begin a second week at the summit of the ARIA Singles Chart. The Canadian pop singer also claims the No. 3 spot with “Sorry” and he completes a clean-sweep of the top three on ARIA’s Streaming Tracks chart (“Love Yourself”-“Sorry”-“What Do You Mean?”).
The top five on the national singles chart is completed by Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” (Def Jam), which holds at No. 4; and DJ Snake feat. Bipolar Sunshine’s “Middle” (Interscope/Universal), which rises 7-5.

The Weeknd makes a notable improvement on this week’s chart with “In The Night” (Universal), which rises 41-13. The Canadian artist has two other tracks making an impression on the Top 30: “The Hills” is at No. 17 and “Can’t Feel My Face” is at No. 24.
Adele’s 25 continues to outmuscle all other album releases in the market, where it beings its fourth week at No. 1 and is now certified seven-times platinum. The British singer-songwriter’s previous album 21 is at No. 16 and her debut 19 is at No. 30.
Michael Buble’s seasonal heavyweight Christmas (*Reprise/Warner) has just missed out on an unusual chart feat of reaching No. 1 for five successive years. The Canadian crooner’s Christmas hit No. 1 in 2011 for five weeks, reached the top spot in 2012 for four weeks, sat at the peak for three weeks in 2013 and again reached the top spot last year for a single week. After two weeks at No. 3, Buble’s Christmas this week rises 3-2.

The top five is rounded out by Bieber’s Purpose, up 4-3; Taylor Swift’s 1989 (Big Machine/Universal), up 5-4; and The 12th Man’s comedy compilation The Very Best Of Richie (LD/Universal), up 7-5.
X Factor Australia winner Cyrus Villanueva’s self-titled first album for Sony Music opens at No. 9 for the week’s top debut.
