Juice WRLD Charts Seven Songs on Billboard Hot 100, Led by ‘Lucid Dreams’

Following Juice WRLD’s death on Dec. 8, the late rapper/singer charts seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Dec. 21).

As previously reported, his breakthrough single “Lucid Dreams” re-enters at No. 8, returning to the top 10 for the first time since Dec. 8, 2018. It peaked at No. 2 on Oct. 6, 2018.  

The track returns with 38.6 million U.S. streams (up 235%) in the week ending Dec. 12, according to Nielsen Music, as it also re-enters Streaming Songs at No. 2. It sold 8,000 downloads (up 1,637%) and returns to Digital Song Sales at No. 14 after drawing 9.9 million radio audience impressions (up 66%) in the tracking week.

Of Juice WRLD’s seven entries on the latest Hot 100, four re-enter, while the other three continue their respective chart runs.

Juice WRLD (full name: Jarad Higgins) charted 25 songs on the Hot 100 during his lifetime, with two reaching the top 10 (“Lucid Dreams” and the No. 10-peaking “Bandit”) and six hitting the top 40.

He charted 16 of those 25 titles on the Hot 100 in 2019, tied for sixth-most among all artists.

Concurrently, both of Juice WRLD’s solo studio albums return to the top 10 of the Billboard 200. Goodbye & Good Riddance vaults 71-6 with 59,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. (up 405%), while his former No. 1, Death Race for Love, jumps 88-10 with 49,000 units (up 380%).
