Hip hop pioneer Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons has signed with WME, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. The agency also has signed Simmons’ wife, Justine, and two of their younger children, Russy and Miley.
All four will be featured in Travel Channel’s upcoming new docuseries Rev Run’s Around the World, which the cabler picked up for 16 episodes to premiere this fall. Simmons has become the only lifestyle personality with television shows on three different Scripps networks: He also documented the complete overhaul of the family’s 9,000-square-foot home in DIY’s Rev Run’s Renovation, while Cooking Channel has ordered a third season of Rev Run’s Sunday Suppers and a holiday special.

Simmons executive produces all of his shows through his banner Simmons/Lehman Productions, which he runs with his manager, Michael Lehman. He has penned three New York Times bestsellers and has a social media following of 10 million fans.
Simmons, of course, came to prominence as co-founder of iconic 1980s hip hop group Run-D.M.C. Audiences became familiar with his large family through MTV’s Run’s House, which ran for six seasons beginning in 2005.
