Jordan Davis Hits Emerging Artists Chart’s Top 10, MAX Rules for Second Week
Country singer-songwriter Jordan Davis leaps into the top 10, from No. 15 to No. 9, on Billboard's Emerging Artists chart (dated Feb. 17).

Country singer-songwriter Jordan Davis leaps into the top 10, from No. 15 to No. 9, on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart (dated Feb. 17).
The move is powered by his debut hit “Singles You Up,” which jumps 19-14 on Hot Country Songs and arrives as his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 94. The track drew 23 million audience impressions (up 9 percent) in the tracking week, according to Nielsen Music, pushing it 15-14 on Country Airplay and onto on the all-genre Radio Songs chart at No. 48.
The song also sports 3.9 million U.S. streams (up 11 percent) and 5,000 downloads sold (up 1 percent).
The Emerging Artists chart uses the same formula as the all-encompassing Billboard Artist 100, which measures artist activity across multiple Billboard charts, including the Hot 100, Billboard 200 and the Social 50. However, the Emerging Artists chart excludes acts that have notched a top 25 entry on either the Hot 100 or Billboard 200, as well as artists that have achieved two or more top 10s on Billboard‘s “Hot” song genre charts and/or consumption-based “Top” album genre rankings.
MAX leads the Emerging Artists chart for a second week, as his breakthrough single “Lights Down Low,” featuring gnash, hits a new No. 30 high on the Hot 100 (up from No. 38). The track also reaches a new peak on the Radio Songs chart, rising 9-8, gaining 6 percent to 71 million audience impressions. Bazzi lifts 4-2, also a new best, on Emerging Artists, as his single “Mine” enters the top 40 on the Hot 100, surging 41-29. The track increases by 10 percent to 18.1 million U.S. streams, and leaps 18-13 on the Streaming Songs chart.
Rounding out the Emerging Artists top five are three country acts: Walker Hayes steps 5-3, Russell Dickerson dips 2-4 and Devin Dawson rises 6-5. Meanwhile, The Wood Brothers debut at No. 37, as the trio’s One Drop of Truth arrives at No. 1 on Heatseekers Albums, as well as No. 11 on Americana/Folk Albums and No. 41 on Top Country Albums with 3,000 equivalent album units.
