Jonas Brothers Rake In Nearly $20M for First 12 Shows of Happiness Begins Tour
The tour is already averaging a larger gross per show than any other tour in the band's career.
Jonas Brothers’ first tour in six years is off to a strong start, racking up just under $20 million in its first dozen dates.
The tour, which kicked off Aug. 7 at American Airlines Arena in Miami, grossed $19 million in its first 12 shows (Aug. 7-24) — all sellouts — with 164,638 tickets sold, according to data reported to Billboard Boxscore.
Thus far, the tour is paced by a $2.8 million-grossing, two-night set at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on Aug. 23-24, with its biggest one-night affair coming via Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia ($1.9 million) on Aug. 18.

Though the tour is still in its infancy (it’s currently planned through February 2020), its average gross per show — $1.6 million — puts it on pace to be the top-grossing tour in the band’s history in terms of average per venue, exceeding the $1.1 million mark set by its 2009 world tour.
The group’s Happiness Begins Tour is set for a North American run through Dec. 15 in Inglewood, Calif., followed by a Dec. 30 date in Nassau, The Bahamas. The tour then hops to Europe, where it has dates scheduled through Feb. 22 in Paris. Bebe Rexha and Jordan McGraw are the tour’s North American openers.
It’s the Jonas Brothers’ first tour since a North American jaunt that ran June-October 2013, prior to the band’s breakup.
