Jonas Brothers React to Earning Their First No. 1 With ‘Sucker’ Debut: ‘AHHH!’

The Jonas Brothers took to Twitter on Monday (March 11) to express their shock, excitement and appreciation for "Sucker" debuting at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 (chart dated March 16).

All three Jonas Brothers took to social media on Monday (March 11) to express their shock, excitement and appreciation for comeback single “Sucker” debuting at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 (chart dated March 16).

“AHHH!!! This is unbelievable,” Nick tweeted along with screenshots of the Hot 100 chart and accompanying Billboard story. “My heart is so full of gratitude. There was a time I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to be able to make music with my brothers again, let alone have a number 1 song on the Hot 100 on @billboard.”

For his part, Kevin posted a heartfelt video thanking his brothers as well as fans for helping the band reach the milestone after a six-year hiatus to pursue solo projects, marriages and other work.

“I don’t even know what to say at this point,” he said with a smile. “Thank you so much for all the love for ‘Sucker,’ for the continued support, so much more to come. Today’s an amazing day. Billboard Hot 100 debut, number one baby! Love it.”

While his brothers went the sincere route, Joe was positively giddy, posting a video of himself removing first a Jar Jar Binks mask, then a Spider-Man mask as he gleefully shared his excitement at the news.

“O. M. G. OMG! We’re number one, this crazy, I can’t believe it, you guys are amazing. I just want to punch something. And kick something,” he said before playing punching an inflatable clown and letting out a triumphant yelp to the camera.

“Sucker” marks the JoBros’ first-ever No. 1 hit on the Hot 100 and is just the 34th song in the chart’s history to debut at the top spot. The Jonas Brothers previously peaked at No. 5 with their 2008 single “Burnin’ Up.’
