Before parting ways in 2014, White and his Civil Wars partner Joy Williams had netted four Grammys, including best folk album for their acclaimed debut Barton Hollow, and a best song written for visual media nod for “Safe & Sound,” the duo’s collaboration with Swift.

White’s solo career includes 2016’s Beulah and this year’s The Hurting Kind, both released on his own Single Lock Records. He is currently touring throughout America, Europe, and Canada as he writes for his next record.

“It was very important for me to find a partner that wholeheartedly believes in me and my work,” said White. “Ben and the entire team at Warner Chappell have a real expertise, dedication, and passion for the music. I’m grateful for their support and look forward to working together.”
