Vocal producer, songwriter and arranger Jenna Andrews has joined Barry Weiss‘ Records label as an exclusive A&R consultant, it was announced Monday (Feb. 26). She will be based in both New York and Los Angeles.
Andrews began her career in Vancouver, Canada, where she was discovered by manager Chris Smith (Alessia Cara, Nelly Furtado), who helped her sign as a recording artist with Island Def Jam. After releasing an EP, she shifted gears to working behind the scenes and signed with Songs Music Publishing and then Sony/ATV.
Andrews is known for her work with Drake, Dua Lipa, Tori Kelly, Jessie J and Jennifer Lopez as well as producers Doc McKinney, Noah 40 Shebib, Diplo, DJ Mustard, Max Martin and Stargate, among others. She has lately been working closely with Noah Cyrus and Lennon Stella of Nashville and formerly Lennon & Maisy, who is Andrews’ first signing to Records.

Weiss initially established Records in partnership with Songs Music Publishing, which recently sold its catalog to Kobalt. Records is now run as a joint venture with Sony Music Entertainment.
“I have been extremely impressed with Jenna since meeting her as an artist at Island Records several years ago,” said Weiss in a statement, having spent three years with the label before launching Records. “Having been re-introduced to her as a songwriter, vocal producer and all around creative talent, I felt that it was really important and timely to get her more involved at RECORDS as an A&R consultant and look forward to having her as a part of our young company’s continuing development.”
Added Andrews “I am very proud and excited to join Barry at RECORDS and look forward to joining his incredible team.”
