Husband and wife duo Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires are both performing at this year’s Marcus King Band reunion, Sept. 27 and 28 at Pisgah Brewing Company in Black Mountain, N.C.

Isbell will be performing with his band the 400 Unit while Shires will be performing her own set for the third annual festival hosted by soulful rock group The Marcus King Band, who will perform two sets over the multi-day run.

“Each year, Family Reunion grows more and more while still maintaining the festival’s original concept,” says curator Marcus King in a statement, adding that the event is about “bringing together our families — the brothers and sisters we’ve come to know on the road, for a weekend of breaking bread, making music, and fellowship. We hope to see all of YOU at the annual Family Reunion this year.”

The alt-country and Americana showcase takes place 20 minutes east of Ashville, “when the mountain air begins to feel a little cooler and the leaves begin their colorful display” reads a press release announcing the festival. King will be performing songs from the band’s 2018 album Carolina Confessions, produced and mixed by Grammy winner Dave Cobb. From June 5-7, Marcus King Band live-streamed their three-night run at Brooklyn Bowl, and later this summer, the group will open a string of dates for Chris Stapleton.

A presale for the show starts tomorrow with a general public onsale schedule for Friday. The full lineup is available below. Click here for ticket information and sale times.
