J Balvin notches his 13th top 10 on the Hot Latin Songs chart (dated Feb. 3) as his single “Machika,” with Jeon and Anitta, debuts at No. 10 on chart dated Feb. 3. The track — which was released on Jan. 19 — opens with 4,000 downloads sold and 3.2 million streams earned in the week ending Jan. 25, according to Nielsen Music. It’s the first top 10 for both Anitta and Jeon.
On Latin Airplay, the track rises 29-9 in its second frame (up 118 percent to 9.9 million audience impressions in the week ending Jan. 28) after debuting a week earlier from only three days of airplay. It’s Balvin’s 11th top 10 on the tally, and the first for Anitta and Jeon.
The track debuts in the top 5 on the Latin Digital Song Sales chart. On Latin Pop Airplay, it surges 25-10 and earns the week’s Greatest Gainer honor. Concurrently, it rises 16-5 on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart collecting the week’s Most Increased Audience trophy.
Over on Latin Rhythm Songs, Becky G leads the airplay chart for a second time, as “Mayores,” featuring Bad Bunny, lifts 3-1 (14 million in audience, up 4 percent). The song also logs the second-longest climb to No. 1 in the 12-year history of the chart, as it tops the list in its 24th week. Only Aventura’s “Mi Corazoncito” took longer, with a 26-week ascent in 2007.
