Puerto Rican singer and songwriter iLe has revealed the dates and venues for her upcoming Almadura U.S. tour exclusively to Billboard. The outing is set to kick off in Chicago on Feb. 8, and will continue with stops in 14 more cities, including New York, Atlanta, San Antonio, Miami and Los Angeles among others. “This tour represents many things for me,” iLe tells Billboard. “I will bring my entire band from Puerto Rico which are all incredible musicians. The show has a lot of energy and it is full of rhythm.” The Almadura tour is iLe’s first national outing in support of her sophomore album, also called Almadura, which was nominated for a Grammy in the best Latin rock, alternative or urban album category.
“This is a good moment to acknowledge our inner strength and try to connect more with ourselves. It’s almost like a cleanse that we all need once in a while to wash away the weight we have carried for so long,” she says.
