Miami’s III Points festival moved its date for 2020 to make room for Super Bowl LIV, but it made up for the delay with a heavy set of cross-genre headliners that celebrates experimentation and forward-thinking grooves.
The festival’s seventh-edition will feature top billing from garage rock revivalist legends The Strokes, sing-along dance-pop queen Robyn, hip-hop’s chess boxing royalty the Wu-Tang Clan, and brotherly house superduo Disclosure.
The festival has always celebrated alternative electronic grooves, and dance fans will be happy to see a rare performance from Amon Tobin as he presents his Two Fingers show, as well as Canadian-Haitian beat master Kaytranada, chilltronic melody man Caribou, bass-loving house leader Chris Lake, ambient post-rocker Tycho. Green Velvet, Erol Alkan, Stereolab and more round out the bill.
III Points returns to its home in Miami’s Wynwood arts district for two night of mystical mood-setting Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2. Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 24, at 10:00 a.m. ET/7:00 a.m. PT.
Update (March 3): More acts have been added. Check the full lineup below.
