On Friday (May 10), iHeartMedia announced that Rahul Sabnis has been promoted to chief creative officer and executive vp of the company’s just-launched in-house creative group, TheStudio at iHeartMedia. He will report to Darren Davis, president of iHeartRadio and iHeartMedia Networks Group.
“Rahul continues to produce the impactful design and creative that defines our company’s brand identity, and has truly enriched the way our iHeart brands look, feel and perform across all of our platforms,” said Davis in a statement. “He continues to create a clear brand image for iHeart that successfully resonates with our audiences and delivers value and results for our partners.”

Sabnis will head up the initiative to combine iHeartMedia’s Creative Studio and CSG in Atlanta into one entity, TheStudio at iHeartMedia, to align the media conglomerate’s audio offerings with advertising and marketing strategies, and creative services.
Previously, he was executive vp and executive creative director for iHeartMedia. Before he joined the company in 2017, Sabnis was executive creative director and head of creative at MullenLowe Profero. He has also worked at 360i, Havas Worldwide and Digitas.
A five-time entrant onto the Ad Age Agency A-list over the past eight years, Sabnis won “Best in Show” for OMMA and an Effie in the package goods category, and has received accolades from the Webby, W3 and IMA Awards.
