HARDY Scores His First Hot Hard Rock Songs No. 1 With ‘Sold Out’

He reigns at the same time as he charts "Beers on Me" in the top five of Country Airplay.

HARDY rules Billboard‘s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart for the first time with “Sold Out,” which leaps from No. 13 to No. 1 on the ranking dated April 2.

“Sold Out” leads in its second week on the list following its first full tracking week, after it was released March 16. In the March 18-24 week, it earned 2.3 million official U.S. streams and sold 1,600 downloads, according to Luminate, formerly MRC Data.

“Sold Out” is HARDY’s second entry on Hot Hard Rock Songs, which began in 2020. His cover of Puddle of Mudd‘s “Blurry” debuted and peaked at No. 19 last June.

“Sold Out” concurrently debuts at No. 21 on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, where it’s HARDY’s first appearance.

The track hits new highs of No. 2 on Hard Rock Digital Song Sales and No. 8 on Rock Digital Song Sales, and it debuts at No. 20 on Hard Rock Streaming Songs.

“Sold Out” is a rare rock release from HARDY, who mostly records in the country genre and topped Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart with “One Beer” featuring Lauren Alaina and Devin Dawson in December 2020. In the same week as his Hot Hard Rock Songs triumph, he boasts the No. 4 song on Country Airplay: his team-up with Dierks Bentley and Breland, “Beers on Me.”
