Halsey ‘Speechless’ After ‘Without Me’ Hits No. 1 on Hot 100: ‘Thank You Guys For Everything’
Halsey claimed her first No. 1 in a lead role on the Billboard Hot 100 with her deeply personal tune "Without Me."

Halsey claimed her first No. 1 in a lead role on the Billboard Hot 100 on Monday (Jan. 7) with her deeply personal tune “Without Me.” Her first appearance in general atop the chart was 2016’s smash collab with the Chainsmokers, “Closer,” which spent 12 weeks at the summit.
The songstress took to Twitter to express excitement and gratitude over the accomplishment, noting that she is “speechless.” “this song came out of a very lonely place and the past few weeks have showed me just how loved and supported i could be,” she continued. “thank you guys for everything. i don’t even know what to say.”

“i really need a sec to collect myself so i can properly express my gratitude…i’m so confused?¿ and happy?¿ thank you.” She also reacted to the fact that “Without Me” is Capitol Records’ first Hot 100 chart topper since Katy Perry’s 2014 hit, “Dark Horse.”
“holy fuck,” she simply replied. See below.
