A brief video (below) posted on the Guns N’ Roses website today lists 21 cities and says “Coming, Summer 2016” as a snippet of GnR song “Patience” plays in the background. That’s the only info delivered so far on a much-anticipated summer tour, but it is well-known in the industry that Live Nation will produce the stadium run, which reunites GnR front man Axl Rose with former members Slash and Duff McKagan for the first time since 1993.

The cities are listed alphabetically: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallaas, Detroit, Houston, Kansas City, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Seattle, St. Louis, Toronto, and Washington, D.C. Additional cities wouldn’t be a shocking suprise. The tour is expected to go out in July and August, though June dates could not be ruled out, nor could more international shows.

Guns N’ Roses is booked by Ken Fermaglich at UTA Live Nation’s Steve Herman — the man behind the Dixie Chicks’ upcoming DCX MMXVI summer tour (the group’s first in more than a decade) — is running point on the tour, which follows two shows each at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (April 8-9), and the Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., (April 16 and 23). Sandwiched between are two shows at Mexico City’s Foro Sol stadium April 19-20. Also possible somewhere in this mix is an L.A. club show, with sources saying that the Troubador on L.A.’s Sunset Strip being the most likely location. Live Nation reps and Fermaglich have so far not commented on the tour.

AEG Live, once in contention to promote the summer stadium run, first tipped on Billboard back in December, will produce both the Vegas shows and the Coachella appearance, the latter through its Goldenvoice division. Tickets for the summer tour will most likely go on sale before or shortly after the shows start being played in April.
