Greg Millard has been named evp of event and experiential partnerships at iHeartMedia, it was announced today (Oct. 15). He will report to Tim Castelli, president of national sales, marketing and partnerships for the company.

Joining the company from Turner Broadcasting, Millard will now front the go-to-market strategy for all of iHeartMedia’s national sponsorship sales efforts, including the company’s roster of marquee events, the iHeartRadio Theaters in N.Y. and L.A., custom events and partnership opportunities, and local events in over 150 markets nationwide. Additionally, he will work closely with iHeartMedia’s marketing, product, research and media planning teams to develop innovative and effective opportunities for advertisers on both the national and local levels.

“iHeartMedia has the biggest, culture-defining events in music across every genre. Greg will leverage these events and culturally relevant moments to connect brands with their consumers,” said Castelli. “With our unique access to data, insights, artists, moments and airwaves, iHeartMedia’s one-of-a-kind partnership opportunities help brands shape pop culture — not just chase it.”

“I’m thrilled to be joining iHeartMedia, especially at such an exciting time in the audio business,” added Millard. “The company is leading the industry in multi-platform experiential programs. I look forward to working with the incredible National Sales, Marketing and Partnerships team to develop powerful partnerships leveraging our unparalleled portfolio of events and venues.”

In addition to his work as vp of partnerships and branded programming at Turner Broadcasting, Millard previously spent four years as a vp at International Management Group and held sales and marketing positions at CBS, the NFL and NBC.
