Sergey Brin, the multi-multi billionaire Google co-founder, has divorced his wife of eight years. Brin and Anne Wojcicki, sister of YouTube chief Susan Wojcicki, tied the knot in 2007 and have two children together. Business Insider is reporting that the divorce was finalized in early May.
The power couple had been separated since 2013 when Brin moved out of their $7 million home in Los Altos, Calif. while dating Google Glass marketer Amanda Rosenberg. “It was inappropriate,” a Vanity Fair source said of the relationship, which has since ended. Both Brin and Wojcicki have gone on to date other people, BI reports.
Details regarding child custody and the financial settlement between Wojcicki and Brin, whose estimated worth is pegged at $30 billion, were not released. According to reports, a prenuptial agreement was in place.
Wojcicki is the founder of 23andMe, a genetic-testing company. In 2013 she was dubbed “The Most Daring CEO in America” by Fast Company. Brin and Larry Page founded Google in 1998 while they were both Ph.D. students at Stanford University, and the rest is search engine history.
