Madeon Shows ‘Good Faith’ at No. 1 on Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart
Madeon opens at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart (dated Nov. 30) with Good Faith.

Madeon opens at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart (dated Nov. 30) with Good Faith. The album earned 9,000 equivalent album units, including 6,000 copies sold, in its first week, according to Nielsen Music.
Faith is Madeon’s second No. 1, after Adventure topped the chart in April 2015.
Concurrently, the French DJ/producer places five Faith tracks on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, led by “No Fear No More,” which earned 705,000 U.S. streams in the tracking week, at No. 32. Plus, “All My Friends,” which hit No. 16 in June, returns at No. 33, pulling in 592,000 streams.
Also of note on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, Meduza, Becky Hill and Goodboys go top 10 with “Lose Control” (12-10). The first top 10 for English singer Hill, “Control” is the second each for Italian producers Meduza and British producers Goodboys, after the acts’ collaboration “Piece of Your Heart” (No. 10, July). “Control” culled 2 million streams and sold 1,000 downloads in the tracking week.
On Dance Club Songs, U.K.-based producer Endor (Dan Endor) prances 2-1 with “Pump It Up.” Endor’s first No. 1 has been promoted only with original and extended versions, not remixes.
Shifting to Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Dua Lipa leaps 18-5 with “Don’t Start Now,” her fifth top 10. The poppy original was remixed by Dom Dolla and PopRoXxX, among others. (The Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart measures radio airplay on a select group of full-time dance stations, along with plays during mix shows on nearly 80 top 40-formatted reporters.)
Plus, Galantis and Dolly Parton surge 13-6 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay with “Faith.” The fifth top 10 for Galantis and the third for Probz, “Faith” is Parton’s first top 10 on the tally. As previously reported, the track started atop Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales three weeks ago.
