We the Kingdom notches its second No. 1 on Billboard‘s Christian Airplay chart as “God So Loved” ascends 2-1 on the list dated Oct. 17.
In the tracking week ending Oct. 11, it increased by 5% to 9.3 million audience impressions, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
The song is the quintet’s second straight No. 1, after “Holy Water” reigned for four frames starting on the list dated March 14. Holiday track “Christmas Day” reached No. 10 last December, awarding the act its first of three consecutive top 10s.
The band comprises brothers Ed and Scott Cash, the former’s daughter Franni and son Martin, and friend Andrew Bergthold.
Meanwhile on Gospel Airplay, Titus Showers’ “It’s Gonna Be Alright,” featuring Jermaine Dolly, lifts 3-1, bolstered by its gain of 24% during the tracking week.
The song, which Showers co-wrote, is his first solo Gospel Airplay entry. The singer-songwriter is also frontman of gospel group The Showers, who have charted two titles: “Better” (No. 13, August 2015) and “Immediately” (No. 24, April 2016).
Dolly lands his second Gospel Airplay No. 1, among five top 10s, after “Pull Us Through,” featuring Maranda Curtis, led for five weeks starting in April. Dolly earned his first top 10 with his freshman entry “You,” which reached No. 3 in November 2016.
