Glass Animals frontman Dave Bayley took to Instagram on July 12 to explain the reason for canceled tour dates, including two with Beck.
Last Monday (July 2), the band’s drummer Joe Seaward was involved in a severe car accident in Dublin, breaking several bones in his leg and fracturing his skull. The musician survived and is undergoing recovery; he will, according to Bayley, “make it back to his cheeky old self.”
Fans previously received news on Tuesday (July 10) that due to unforeseen circumstances, the band would not be performing with Beck on his Colors tour and would be replaced with singer-songwriter Jenny Lewis.
