Gary Clark Jr. is opening the newly renovated Theater at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas. Presented by AEG Presents, the genre-blending guitarist will christen the 4,500-capacity on Sept. 11.
“It is an honor to be the grand opening performer for Las Vegas’ newest entertainment venue,” said Clark in a release. “Las Vegas has so many iconic musicians and performance venues, and I’m excited to headline the first of many performances to come at The Theater and to be sharing this experience with my fans.”
The renovated theater features remodeled luxury suites and multiple VIP areas, a state-of-the-art sound system, new video technology and a production package tailor-made for artists.
“This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for,” venue general manager of The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas Chas Smith said in a release. “Our team could not be more excited to debut this world-class entertainment venue to the public, especially with such an extraordinary talent like Gary Clark Jr. This is sure to be an unforgettable night for The Theater, for fans and for all of us at AEG Presents Las Vegas and Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.”
The Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, part of Curio Collection by Hilton, is also making the opening a multi-space experience. With proof of ticket, concertgoers can receive special offers beforehand at various restaurants and clubs including the hotel’s Casa Calavera, Night + Market, Todd English’s Olives and new club Money, Baby. Following Clark’s performance, ticketholders can get additional special deals at The Bar at Common’s Club and The Shag Room.
