Iggy Azalea, DJ Mustard Make Forbes’ ‘Hip-Hop Cash Princes’ List

Who will be the next Rick Ross, Drake or Nicki Minaj and join the ranks of top earners in the land of hip hop? Or how about future rapper-turned-moguls in the vein of Jay Z and Dr. Dre? For the second consecutive year, those list-loving listophiles at Forbes have crowned their Hip-Hop Cash Princes, singling out artists who they believe have the potential to be up to their necks in it before long.
The unranked list includes mostly rappers but also a few producers. In the mix this year are Migos, Rae Sremmurd, Young Thug, Nipsey Hussle, Ty Dolla $ign, Hit-Boy, YG, PartyNextDoor and Kid Ink. The list also includes a few artists/producers who should be moving up to Forbes’ Hip-Hop Cash Kings list soon, namely Miley Cyrus hit-maker Mike Will Made-It, Hot 100-frequenter DJ Mustard and a young Australian rapper named Iggy Azalea, who according to the list makes over $75,000 per concert.
You have to be under 30 to be eligible for the Cash Princes list, which was selected by a panel of judges including Cash Princes alum Tyga, Cash King ?DJ Khaled, Hot 97 radio host Peter Rosenberg, and Forbes staffers Natalie Robehmed and Zack O’Malley Greenburg. Artist are only allowed to appear on the list once.
