Foo Fighters Launching Limited Channel on SiriusXM
The Foo Fighters will launch a limited-engagement channel on SiriusXM on Feb. 3, which will include an all-new live performance from the band at the SiriusXM Garage in Los Angeles on Feb. 5.

In addition to the Foo Fighters LIVE from the SiriusXM Garage gig (which airs at 5 p.m. ET and PT) that will be hosted by SiriusXM’s Kat Corbett and attended by a live virtual audience of SiriusXM subscribers, the band’s channel will broadcast the new album in its entirety at midnight on its release day; the group’s members will host a track-by-track album special breaking down each song.
Among the special events and shows will be a three-station blitz beginning on Feb. 5 on Pandora, where the Foos will take over three stations: Today’s Alternative, Today’s Hard Rock and Foo Fighters radio with a new listening mode called Backstage with Foo Fighters. The members will curate and host the mode, which will bring listeners behind the scenes to explore the songs from the new album, as well as other key songs and hand-picked favorites.

This special extended channel will draw new listeners, and as part of it we are very proud to present a Foo Fighters concert from our L.A. studios next week. In addition to the live show and classic songs, Foo Fighters Radio will also have the band sharing the stories behind their biggest songs, demos, b-sides and rarities, as well as exclusive encores of Dave Grohl Presents Sound City, nine radio shows that feature Grohl discussing the music recorded at the iconic Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, including Nirvana’s Nevermind. There will also be a weekly series of live concerts from the band’s vaults and guest DJ slots from artists and celebrities playing their favorite Foos music.
There will also be hand-picked songs from other artists, which will officially launch at noon on Feb. 3 and run through April 4 on channel 105 and on the SiriusXM app.
