‘Locke & Key’ Lands Flora Cash Atop The Hollywood Reporter’s Top TV Songs Chart for February 2020

The song appeared in the new Netflix series "Locke & Key,” which premiered Feb. 7.

Flora Cash’s “You’re Somebody Else” hits No. 1 on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top TV Songs chart, presented by Tunefind, for February 2020, thanks to Locke & Key, which featured the song in the seventh episode of its debut season.

Rankings for the Top TV Songs chart are based on song and show data provided by Tunefind and ranked using a formula blending that data with sales and streaming information tracked by Nielsen Music during the corresponding period.

“You’re Somebody Else,” which rose to No. 2 on Billboard’s Alternative Songs airplay chart in February 2019, reigns on Top TV Songs after appearing in the Netflix show, whose first season premiered Feb. 7.

In February 2020, the song earned 4,000 digital downloads and 5 million streams, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

It reigns over fellow former alternative radio hit M83’s “Midnight City,” which arrives at No. 2 after being heard in the premiere episode of Netflix’s Ragnarok, which first aired Jan. 31.

In addition to 2,000 downloads, the song also earned 4.4 million streams in February 2020. M83’s “Intro” also appeared in the episode and enters Top TV Songs at No. 4.
