Five songs from Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper‘s A Star Is Born soundtrack land on the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated Oct. 20), as the album concurrently debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 231,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music.
Gaga and Cooper’s collab “Shallow” places the highest of the bunch on the Hot 100, as it vaults from No. 28 to No. 5 in its second week. The track earns Gaga her 15th top 10 hit and Cooper his first, after becoming his first Hot 100 entry a week earlier.
“Shallow” is the focus track from A Star Is Born, which premiered in theaters Oct. 5, the same day that its soundtrack was released. The ballad was co-written by Gaga, Mark Ronson, former Dirty Pretty Things vocalist Anthony Rossomando and Miike Snow vocalist Andrew Wyatt.
Here is a look at all five tracks from A Star Is Born on the Hot 100, as, below “Shallow,” four debut:

Cooper earns his second Hot 100 entry and first on his own, thanks to “Maybe It’s Time,” which enters at No. 93. The track was written by Jason Isbell and performed in the movie and for the soundtrack by Cooper.
The A Star Is Born soundtrack debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with the biggest week for a soundtrack since the Fifty Shades of Grey companion album in 2015. The LP is the third No. 1 soundtrack of 2018, following The Greatest Showman and Black Panther: The Album.
Cooper makes his directorial debut with A Star Is Born and co-produced and co-wrote the screenplay for the film. He portrays musician Jackson Maine, who discovers Gaga’s character Ally, in the latest remake of the original 1937 movie starring Janet Gaynor and Fredric March. The film was adapted into a musical in 1954 starring Judy Garland and remade as a musical in 1976 starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.
As previously reported, Maroon 5‘s “Girls Like You,” featuring Cardi B, leads the Hot 100 for a fourth week.
