Finneas Returns to No. 1 on Hot 100 Producers Chart for Seventh Week on Top

Finneas rules Billboard‘s Hot 100 Producers chart (dated Jan. 11) for a seventh week, jumping 6-1 thanks to a pair of songs on the Billboard Hot 100 by Billie Eilish that he solely produced.

Eilish’s former No. 1 hit, “Bad Guy,” leads at No. 14, followed by “Everything I Wanted” at No. 23 (after it debuted at its No. 8 highpoint in November).

Finneas and Eilish co-wrote both songs, sparking their tie at No. 4 on the Hot 100 Songwriters tally. Finneas previously ruled the ranking for 10 weeks, four of them with Eilish.

Only Louis Bell has logged more weeks at No. 1 on Hot 100 Producers (17) since the chart’s launch in June.

Among other Hot 100 Producers chart moves, Wondagurl and 30Roc debut at Nos. 3 and 4, respectively. Wondagurl (real name: Ebony Oshunrinde) bows on the strength of Don Oliver’s”No Idea” (No. 46 on the Hot 100) and “Had Enough” (featuring Quavo and Offset; No. 52 debut), both of which she solely produced. The latter song is from the LP Jackboys, which launches at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

30Roc (full name: Samuel Gloade) enters Hot 100 Producers thanks to Roddy Ricch’s “The Box,” which vaults 13-3 on the Hot 100, earning the rapper his first top 10. 30Roc solely produced the track.

The weekly Hot 100 Songwriters and Hot 100 Producers charts are based on total points accrued by a songwriter and producer, respectively, for each attributed song that appears on the Hot 100; plus, genre-based songwriter and producer charts follow the same methodology based on corresponding “Hot”-named genre charts. As with Billboard‘s yearly recaps, multiple writers or producers split points for each song equally (and the dividing of points will lead to occasional ties on rankings).
