The sultry electronic-pop throbber spends another week at No. 1 on World Digital Song Sales, selling an additional 2,000 copies in the week ending Dec. 20, according to Nielsen Music. “Love Shot” debuted on the chart with 2,000 copies sold last week. The song is once again the best-selling K-pop song in America this week, and will be 2018’s final No. 1 on the World Song Sales chart.
The second week atop of World Digital Song Sales with “Love Shot” ups EXO’s total weeks at No. 1 to five, making them the K-pop boy band with the second-most weeks at No. 1. The outfit first hit the top slot when 2016 single “Monster” spent two weeks at No. 1 in the summer, scored another week on top of the chart in August, with these two additional weeks with “Love Shot” pulling them ahead of BIGBANG‘s four total weeks. Among all Korean acts, EXO has the third-most weeks at No. 1.
Elsewhere on the charts, EXO’s previous single “Tempo” jumps from No. 19 to No. 12 on this week’s World Digital Song Sales for its sixth, nonconsecutive week on the chart. EXO’s Don’t Mess Up My Tempo album spends its seventh week on World Albums, staying strong at No. 4 this week.
