Executive Turntable: Atlantic Advances SVP; Roc Nation School Staffs Up

Also: Milan Rokic was named svp of AEG Presents Asia and Clark Mims Tedesco and Jamie Younger were each promoted to vp at Warner Music Nashville.

Matt Engelman has been promoted to svp of sales and streaming at Atlantic Records. Engelman has remained with Atlantic since 2001. He will continue applying his expertise towards the label’s growth after advancing from his previous role, vp of sales and streaming.

Gimel “Young Guru” Keaton joined Long Island University’s Roc Nation School of Music, Sports and Entertainment as director of the music technology, entrepreneurship and production program. In partnership with The Roc Nation School, Grammy-winner Keaton also announced a full-tuition scholarship to be awarded to one highly qualified student.


Milan Rokic was named svp of AEG Presents Asia, a division of AEG Presents, its parent concert promotion and artist development company. Reporting to Adam Wilkes (president and CEO of AEG Presents Asia), the Asia-Pacific region industry veteran will leading the AEG Presents Asia team in acquiring and implementing a touring business for properties in music, sports and festivals.

Clark Mims Tedesco and Jamie Younger were each promoted to vice presidents of artist development at Warner Music Nashville. Tedesco and Younger will continue reporting to Shane Tarleton, evp of artist development. The pair will use their strengths to continue working towards the advancement of Warner Music Nashville.

Paul Dien was hired as vp of advancement and partnerships at The GRAMMY Museum®, where he will spearhead the museum’s fundraising and advancement; marketing and social media; and strategic brand partnerships with emphasis on diversifying its contributed and earned revenue. Dien will also support the educational and curatorial work of the museum. Additionally, he will drive the newly combined departments of the museum by leading both the marketing and advancement teams.

Brooke Morrow was hired as evp of creative development at entertainment company Electric Feel. In the newly created role, Morrow will oversee the creative and A&R departments while striving to foster synergy between the company’s various creative arms. Additionally, Morrow will work to expand Electric Feel’s roster of talent — which includes artists, producers, songwriters and engineers.

Na-ima Braimah joined Page 1 Management as general manager for Australia and New Zealand. Based in Sydney and working out of Page 1’s new office, Braimah will lead the company’s Australian efforts by signing and managing talent. She will report to Page 1 founder and CEO, Ashley Page. The company represents several music creators, including Grammy Award-winning writer-producer Joel Little, Grammy nominated Drew Pearson and worldwide Adult Pop Songs chart-topper Jawsh 685.

Sean Striegel will lead midwest promoter Mammoth, Inc.‘s newly launched Mammoth Northeast. Based out of the newly established New York City branch, Striegel will apply his decades-long expertise in concert buying and event production to Mammoth as he establishes an east coast presence for various live events, ranging from clubs to national tours.

Carla Denham was hired at the Music Health Alliance (MHA) in the newly created role of chief external relations officer. Denham will join the MHA’s team in assisting more than 18,000 music industry professionals with their healthcare needs, ranging from assistance with medical bills to physical and mental health guidance. The team’s efforts include: locating doctors or prescription medications, identifying grants for individuals recovering from serious health issues, assisting with affordable health insurance and answering questions regarding Medicare benefits.

Erica Krusen was hired as senior director of cultural influence at instrument manufacturer Gibson Brands. After gaining 15 years of experience with MusiCares, the industry veteran will utilize storytelling, targeted partnerships, high-impact activations and an international multi-media network to broaden the Gibson Brands’ audience.

B2B distributor FUGA has advanced its team with new hires and promotions. Helen Barrass joins FUGA’s U.K. team as head of marketing strategy. Based out of the company’s London office, Barrass will report directly to Craig May, FUGA’s head of marketing services. Additionally, Ryan Stockwell was hired on company’s Los Angeles team as senior marketing services director. Juli Miranda was hired at FUGA’s Amsterdam office as digital campaign manager. Gemma Hart joins FUGA as digital accounts manager for the U.K. Chiara Benedetti was hired as marketing operations coordinator. Melissa Fernie was promoted to head of audience engagement following her role as Audience Engagement Manager. Laura van der Sanden advanced to the role of marketing services director of analytics & operations. Massimo Reali has been promoted to marketing services director for southern Europe, Eastern Europe and the Nordics. Karma Bertelson was promoted to manger of marketing strategy for the U.K.

Jon Vlassopulos, former Roblox vp and global head of music, joined the advisory board of Dubit, a U.K.-based, metaverse game designer.
