The Emerging Artists chart uses the same formula as the all-encompassing Billboard Artist 100, which measures activity across multiple Billboard charts, including the Hot 100, Billboard 200 and the Social 50. However, the Emerging Artists chart excludes acts that have notched a top 25 entry on either the Hot 100 or Billboard 200, as well as artists that have achieved two or more top 10s on Billboard‘s “Hot” song genre charts and/or consumption-based “Top” album genre rankings.

“Paint” climbs mostly on the strength of streaming, as it rises by 62 percent to 15.5 million U.S. streams in the week ending Nov. 14, according to Nielsen Music. On the Streaming Songs chart, it blasts 50-23.

Fellow teen rapper 6ix9ine jumps 9-2 in his second week on Emerging Artists, thanks to his track “Gummo,” which vaults 21-11 on Hot Rap Songs, 25-12 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and 58-29 on the Hot 100. Similar to YBN Nahmir, 6ix9ine is powered by streaming, as the track increases by 59 percent to 22 million streams and rockets to the Streaming Songs top 10 (26-8).

Rounding out the Emerging Artist chart’s top five, LANCO holds at No. 1 for a third week, as its “Greatest Love Story” spends its first week at No. 1 on Hot Country Songs; Russell Dickerson climbs 4-3; Carly Pearce dips 2-4; and Trippie Redd reaches a new peak at No. 5.
