Downtown Hires Anne-Taylor Adams as Senior VP Global Communications
Downtown Music Holdings has hired Anne-Taylor "AT" Adams as senior vp global communications and David Dormon as legal counsel and director of acquisitions.
Downtown Music Holdings has hired Anne-Taylor “AT” Adams as senior vp global communications, the company announced on Wednesday (April 10).
“I am thrilled AT is joining Downtown at such a transformational time in our industry,” said Downtown CEO Justin Kalifowitz in a statement. “Her thoughtful perspective and strategic experience from across entertainment and technology make her an invaluable addition to our global leadership team, an important partner to all of our portfolio companies, and a tireless advocate for the creators we serve around the world.”
Adams most recently served as the senior vp and head of corporate communications for Nielsen. She previously worked at AppNexus and SiriusXM Radio.

Downtown has also hired David Dormon as legal counsel and director of acquisitions, where he will report directly to general counsel Peter Rosenthal. Dormon comes from the international law firm Vedder Price, where he worked as an associate.
Downtown Music Holdings has had a busy 2019. Earlier this month, the company announced plans to acquire AVL Digital Group and its portfolio of music distribution, rights management and artist services business, which include CD Baby, AdRev, DashGo and Soundrop.
Downtown Music Holdings is the parent company of Downtown Music Publishing and the royalty collection service Songtrust.
