Creative Artists Agency’s head of music Rob Light has a new title, according to fast rising R&B artist, producer, and songwriter Bazzi. After signing with the agency this month following the 2018 drop of his celestial-themed album Cosmic, Bazzi described Light as his “intergalactic agent,” according to sources, creating what might be the first interplanetary representation agreement.
The American artist is set to perform at Coachella and The Governor’s Ball Music Festival this spring, following a number of hits including “Beautiful,” which he released with Camila Cabello in October. His single “Mine” hit No. 1 on the Billboard Tops Pop Songs Airplay Chart radio and is RIAA-certified triple Platinum, with more than 350 million total plays.
Last year, Bazzi was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards and last month, he was featured on the Netsky track “I Don’t Even Know You Anymore” with rapper Lil Wayne.
Bazzi continues to be managed by The Heavy Group.
