Columbia Records has signed “Big Drip” Brooklyn rapper Fivio Foreign in a seven-figure deal, a source tells Billboard.

Columbia did not respond to a request for comment, but the rapper appeared to confirm the deal in an Instagram post, posing in front of a sign welcoming him to Columbia with the caption “Signed & Sealed.”

Released independently in June, Fivio’s breakthrough track “Big Drip” has since garnered more than 357,000 streams on Spotify. But it’s the music video filmed in his native New York that appears to be driving the majority of listening: Released only a few weeks ago on Aug. 28, the party-themed visual has now topped 2.1 million views.

“Big Drip” even earned Fivio Foreign a fan in Juice WRLD, who brought the artist onstage at Rolling Loud Festival in New York last weekend to perform the track. Fivio followed “Big Drip” with his first project, Pain and Love, in September.
