Coldplay Announces 2016 U.S. Tour Dates
Coldplay is set to perform at Super Bowl 50 and it just revealed a handful of other United States concerts for the months after it plays the big game in San Francisco on Feb. 7.

Coldplay will embark on its first stadium tour of North America since 2012 with its Head Full of Dreams tour. The Live Nation-produced tour begins July 16 at MetLife Stadium near New York City, with the seven dates announced today (Jan. 28) wrapping at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., on Sept. 3.
Coldplay’s last three tours (Mylo Xyloto in 2011-2012, Viva La Vida in 2008-2010, and Twisted Logic in 2005-2007) have all topped 1 million in attendance, according to Billboard Boxscore, with the band claiming 3 million tickets sold on five continents for the Mylo Xyloto Tour. The complete list of North American shows is below, with more shows expected to follow. Coldplay is managed by Dave Holmes and booked by Marty Diamond at Paradigm Talent.
Prior to the tour, Chris Martin and company will perform at the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show on Feb. 7.

Citi is the official credit card of the A Head Full of Dreams North American shows; Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Jan. 29 through Citi’s Private Pass Program. The general public ticket sale begins Feb. 5 at www.livenation.com.
Beyonce to Perform at Coldplay’s Super Bowl Halftime Show
A Head Full Of Dreams is Coldplay’s seventh album and the follow-up to 2014’s Grammy-nominated Ghost Stories. Since its December 2015 release, A Head Full Of Dreams has reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200, hit No. 1 on iTunes in more than 90 countries and sold over three million copies. Previously, Coldplay announced South American and European tour dates between March 31 and July 6.
