Coi Leray & Nicki Minaj’s ‘Blick Blick!’ Bursts Into Top 10 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart
The collaboration between female rappers also starts as the genre's top-selling song of the week.
Coi Leray claims her first top 10 hit on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart with her collaboration with Nicki Minaj, “Blick Blick!,” which starts at No. 10 on the list dated April 2. The debut also gives Minaj her 37th overall visit to the top tier and third consecutive trip.
“Blick Blick!,” released on Feb. 18 through Republic Records, begins with 9.9 million official U.S. streams in the week ending March 24, according to Luminate, formerly MRC Data. That sum translates to a No. 7 entrance on R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs. On the sales front, “Blick Blick!” storms in at No. 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart, with 8,000 downloads in the same period.
As mentioned above, “Blick Blick!” secures Coi Leray’s first top 10 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs with her third chart appearance. The new hit outperforms her previous best, a No. 15 result for her breakout hit, “No More Parties,” featuring Lil Durk. For Nicki Minaj, “Blick Blick!” is her 37th top 10 and third of 2022. It follows two Lil Baby collaborations from earlier this year – “Do We Have a Problem?,” which became Minaj’s seventh No. 1 on the list and a No. 5 peak for “Bussin.”
Elsewhere, the single arrives at No. 8 on the Hot Rap Songs chart, where it likewise becomes Coi Leray’s first top 10 on the list. Minaj, meanwhile, adds her 42nd top 10. On the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, “Blick Blick!” enters at No. 37 and is the week’s highest debut.
In the radio realm, “Blick Blick!” makes its debut on two radio formats. The collaboration kicks off at No. 39 on Rhythmic Airplay and at No. 42 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.
