Rihanna rewrites the record for the most No. 1s on Billboard’s Nielsen BDS-based Pop Songs radio airplay chart, as Eminem’s “The Monster,” on which she’s featured, jumps 4-1. The song is Rihanna’s 11th No. 1, pushing her past Katy Perry (10) for the most leaders in the chart’s 21-year history. P!nk, Billboard’s current cover act and Woman of the Year, follows with nine No. 1s. (“The Monster” also takes over atop Rap Airplay, below.)

Eminem tallies his fourth Pop Songs No. 1 and first since he and Rihanna (also in a featured role) reigned for two weeks in August 2010 with “Love the Way You Lie.” The rapper first ruled with “Without Me” the week of July 6, 2002, and for seven weeks (beginning Nov. 23, 2002) with “Lose Yourself.”

The Boss returns with “High Hopes,” new on Adult Alternative Songs at No. 22. The song doubles as the title cut to his new album, due Jan. 14. It includes the members of the E Street Band, as well as guitarist Tom Morello, who joined the band on tour in Australia in March (filling in for Steve Van Zandt). “I had cut ‘High Hopes,’ a song by Tim Scott McConnell of the LA-based Havalinas, in the ’90s,” Springsteen reveals in the set’s liner notes. “We worked it up in our Aussie rehearsals and Tom then proceeded to burn the house down with it.”
