Popular Southern California punk venue Chain Reaction and Live Nation have announced the return of Chain Fest, which will feature a headlining set from Jimmy Eat World.
Chain Fest went on hiatus after its 20th anniversary in 2016. The last lineup prior to 2020’s resurrection featured Coheed and Cambria, Underoath, Circa Survive and more at the Observatory venues in Orange County, Calif.
Chain Fest will also be raising money for the Living The Dream Foundation, a non-profit that helps children and young adults living with life-threatening illnesses stay positive, maintain hope, and appreciate each and every day, regardless of their affliction.
Last year, Live Nation Entertainment announced a strategic partnership with the legendary venue. They are now “looking to bring Chain Reaction’s punk personality to a larger stage with the reemergence of Chain Fest,” according to a release.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. PST.
